Disruption to service at Albert Road: Monday 12 February 2018

*Updated: 8am Monday 12 February 2018*

Albert Road Surgery is now open as usual.

*Updated: 8am Monday 12 February 2018*

Dear Patients,

The area surrounding Albert Road Surgery and London City Airport has restricted access enforced by the Metropolitan Policy and Royal Navy due to the discovery of a World War Two ordnance in King George V Dock on Sunday 11 February 2018.

Unfortunately, this will mean that the surgery cannot be accessed until further notice.

We are taking calls remotely and are prioritising the most urgent patient needs via our branch site, Britannia Village Surgery, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst this disruption continues.

If you require urgent medical advice that is not life-threatening but cannot wait for you to see or speak with the GP, please call 111.

If you have a medical emergency such as severe chest pain, suspected broken bones, loss of blood or any other life threatening illness, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Best wishes,

Christiana Sakyi
Practice Manager
